You've all heard the old saying new year new me but, now at the beginning of the year it really is the best or at least the easiest time to start your fitness journey, we all naturally feel like a new year has begun which of course it has and mentally find starting something new, that little bit easier.
After the winter holidays everybody think they have over indulged and need to get in shape for summer. If that really is your aim then the summer body journey should start now. I know is difficult to start on your own and thats why would be perfect to start with your partner or your best friend. Doing it on your own makes it so easy to make excuses, having someone to motivate you and keep you on track, perhaps even with some friendly competitio is the perfect way to ignore that devil on your shoulder.
I onow from my own experience that is very difficult to stay on track, even with a friend, and that’s why having a personal trainer next to you to drag you out of bed for your sessions is a great idea. The advantage having a personal trainer is you have somebody there for every training to motivate you, if you wake up feeloing a bit lazy you may decide not to go to the gym but if I turn up on your doorstep there are no excuses! It's also extrememly important to make sure that you are doing the right exercises and ensuring that you will not get injured.
During my 15 year career as a profesional athlete competing at internatioal level, I had my coach by my side for every training and every competition. Starting your fitness journey you will feel that you have more energy and you will be more productive, it might seem like the last thing you want to do but the endorphina released will make you feel fantastic afterwards. In my career as a coach I have seen not only magnificent body transformations but also seen how exercise can help women to balance their hormones and in doing this, you also see the result in your skin which is always an added bonus. Who doesnt want beautiful clear, glowing skin. Exercise is not only good for your body but for your mind too.
